Form of the Good

Trapped in the stone, we are left to the bone, and we sit in the dark
Watching the shapes, we are trapped like the apes, we believe in the mark
Suddenly chains are undone, and I run to the heat of the flame
Puppets are carved, we are starved for the truth as they rig up the game
Looking at sparks, I am lost in the darks, and my vision is blurred
I want to flee from the light that I see, not a sound can be heard
Pulled up the track, I am forced to attack all the steep gravel trails
I cannot hide on the steep mountain ride, as the false shadow fails

Blinded by light, I step out of the night, and I stare at the sun
Shadows will break, as my spirit awakes, now the journey is done
Truth is a weight, but I master my fate, as the planets align
The form of the good is now understood to eternally shine
Out in the day, all the lies wash away, in the brilliant domain
I see the truth, far beyond bitter youth, and I break off the chain
Looking on high, to the limitless sky, I am finally free
No longer blind, I uncover my mind, and allow it to see

Staring at glass, in the water and grass, I adjust to the glow
Blinded at first, I awaken the thirst, for the secrets I know
Looking at stars, I can heal up the scars, from the underground cell
Breaking the shell, I can finally tell, I am out of the well
Now I can gaze at the beautiful blaze, of the radiant sun
Lost in the daze, I am walking the maze, but the puzzle is done
Numbers and lines are the perfect designs, that awaken my sight
Nature aligns as the intellect shines, and I step in the light

Duty will trace to the horrible base, to the cavern below
Falling apart, with a heavy sad heart, I have got to let go
Walking away, from the beautiful day, is a terrible task
I have to speak, to the blind and the weak, and remove the false mask

Sitting again, in the alien den, my whole vision is dead
Failing the test, I abandon the quest, by the ignorance led
Laughing at me, they refuse to just see, what is hovering near
Wasting their breath, in the chamber of death, they are blinded by fear
Holding the knife, they will threaten my life, if I shatter the chain
I will be slain, if I cure all the pain, they prefer to remain
Placed in the dark, I have lost all the spark, but my vision is pure
I am so sure, there is only one cure, that the soul must secure

Echoes will fade, in the cavern of shade, as the history ends
Messages send, to the mind of a friend, as the reason ascends
Breaking the mold, is a story so old, but the vision is new
Finally true, I awaken for you, and I step in the blue
