I wake up and smile as I jump out of bed

I will my two legs to go walk on the floor

My spirit and flesh do not truly connect

I step in the yard and I stand in the sun
The beautiful weather has finally begun
The light hits my face and it warms up my skin
But matter has no active power within
The star in the sky is just physical space
It cannot project any heat on my face
The sun is the prompt for the maker to act
He gives me the warmth as a matter of fact
